Civilian Motor Driver Jobs: The Indian Navy posted a job notification for the position of Civilian Motor Driver on 07.08.2021. THE TENTH PASS You are eligible to apply for this position. Qualification :

The Indian Navy is accepting applications for the positions of Civilian Motor Driver (OG) and Pest Control Worker, both of which are categorized as Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted. Interested candidates should submit their applications in the proforma attached below by Registered/Speed Post (Application in other forms of mailing will not be accepted).

i. Selected candidates would typically be assigned to units under the administrative control of the Southern/ Andaman & Nicobar Command, including the Lakshadweep Islands, but they may be assigned to Naval units/ formations anywhere in India in the event of an administrative exigency.

Level 2 of the Pay Matrix is the third level (Rs. 19900- 63200)

  1. Commands: Kochi Naval Command, Southern Naval Command
  2. Knowledge of first-line maintenance and matriculation from a recognised board or institution are required. A valid driver’s licence for Heavy Vehicles and Motorcycles is required. Practical experience with Heavy Motor Vehicles driving for one year (HMVs)
  3. Job Profile: The following are examples of CMD(OG) and Pest Control Worker duties and responsibilities. Civilian Motor Driver (OGl: OGl: OGl: OGl: OGl: Carry out driving responsibilities as directed by the office. Know the regulations of the road, highway codes, road signs, and other aspects of road safety and maintenance inside and out.

18 to 25 years of age

Important Instructions:

  1. Candidates are recommended to thoroughly read the guidelines provided in the notification before applying.
  2. At the time of the written test, the Indian Navy will not conduct a thorough review of the applications for eligibility and other factors, and hence candidature will be accepted only ‘provisionally.’
  3. Candidates are recommended to review the requirements for educational qualifications, age, and other factors to ensure that they are qualified for the position.
  4. At the time of Document Verification, the candidate’s supporting documents will be verified. If any claim stated in the application is not found to be proved at any level during the examination, the candidature will be terminated, and the Indian Navy’s decision would be final.
  5. Candidates seeking OBC/SC/ST/EWS/ESM reservation benefits must ensure that they meet the qualifying requirements set forth by the Government of India and detailed in the Notification.
  6. They should also have certificates from the Government of India in the required manner to back up their claim.

Central Government Civilian Employees claiming age relaxation must present a certificate in the prescribed format from their office at the time of document verification in respect of the length of continuous service, which must be for at least three years during the period immediately preceding the application deadline.
  9. If they are selected, they must continue to work for the Central Government as a civilian employee until they are appointed.
  10. A applicant is only allowed to submit one application form for each position.
  11. As a result, candidates are recommended to take caution when filling up their application forms.
  12. A candidate’s candidature would be terminated and he or she will be disqualified from future Indian Navy examinations if he or she submits duplicate applications and appears in the examination (at any stage) more than once.
  13. Candidates must write their name, date of birth, father’s name, and mother’s name exactly as they appear on their matriculation certificate, or their candidature may be cancelled if the Indian Navy becomes aware of it.
  14. Applications with illegible/blurred photographs or signatures will be automatically rejected. Requests for changes or corrections to any details in the Application form that have already been submitted will not be considered under any circumstances.
  15. Candidates are urged to fill in their valid and active e-mail address and mobile number in the application form, since the Indian Navy may communicate with them via email.
  16. Candidates must bring at least one recent photo bearing identification proof to the Examination location, such as an Aadhaar Card with a photograph/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/ID Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with Photograph in original, failing which they will be denied entry.
  17. Mobile phones and other electronic devices, including Bluetooth devices, are prohibited within the Examination Centres’ premises.
  18. Having such equipment on hand during the examination, whether in use or switched off, will be regarded unfair.
  19. Such candidates’ candidacy shall be revoked.
  20. They will face further consequences, including criminal charges and exclusion from Indian Navy examinations, as determined by the Competent Authority.

General Instructions / Terms & Conditions :

Candidates who have graduated from a recognised Board / Institution that uses a ‘Grade Point’ system must have their grade point converted into a percentage of marks by competent authorities prior to applying. Selection Procedure :

  1. Application shortlisting. When the number of applications received (for posts with Matriculation as an educational qualification) is excessive in comparison to the number of openings, and the department finds it difficult or impossible to call all of the candidates for the written test.

i. The Indian Navy reserves the right to limit the number of eligible candidates whose applications are received by shortlisting on merit in a ratio of 1:25 to the number of openings based on the marks obtained in the minimum educational qualification for this recruitment/post, i.e.

ii. A recognized Board’s matriculation or equivalent. Simply meeting the basic selection criteria does not guarantee that a person/applicant will be invited to take the written test.

  1. Written Examination Schedule. All candidates who have been shortlisted/eligible will be required to take a written test comprising of objective type questions based on the Essential credentials.

How to Apply :

  1. The last deadline for receiving applications from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, and Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State is 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News.
  2. The application period for the Lahaul and Spiti District and the Pangi sub-division of the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, as well as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep, will be 28 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.   3. Then the opening date will be the 2nd of the month in the year ABC 2021, and the closing date will be the 22nd of the year in the year ABC 2021. (at 1700 hrs).
  4. The application should be typed or neatly handwritten on plain paper (A4 size) (high quality paper should be used) and affixed with a recent passport size colour photograph fully self-attested on the front side without defacing, as per the recommended format (see below).
  5. The envelope must be clearly superscribed on the top as Application For The Post Of (name of post) (one post only) and CATEGORY (i.e. URIOBC/SC/ST/ EWSs/ESM/PwBDs) and sent by Registered/Speed Post only to The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, HQ Southern Naval Command, Kochi 682004, along with the following documents.

(a) Two additional passport-size photographs for the Admit Card and Exit Card that are self-attested on the backside and have your full name inscribed on them.

(b) Self-attested copies of necessary educational certificates, as well as self-attested copies of higher education certificates, if applicable.

c) A self-attested copy of the date of birth proof (10th certificate or Birth Certificate). As proof of date of birth, only matriculation / SSC / Birth certificate issued by the appropriate Education Board/ Competent Authority will be accepted.

(b) For claiming age/other relaxation, OBC/SC/ST applicants should additionally enclose a recent copy of their caste certificate, fully self-attested, and present the original certificate on demand.

(e) A copy of the candidate’s testimonial in favor of his or her experience/proficiency, if the candidate is seeking for a position that requires it.

(f) With the application, a copy of a certificate duly stating the proof of Ex-Servicemen issued by the Competent Authority, and the original on-demand.

(g) A self-attested copy of the Physically Handicapped Personnel’s Disability Certificate. It should be mentioned that only those who have a relevant disability of at least 40% (percent) will be eligible for age relaxation in services/posts. If required, the candidates must include a PwBDs certificate specifying the proportion of disability issued by a Competent Medical Authority.

(h) While submitting applications, the advantage of reservation under EWSs can be obtained by producing an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the manner established vide DoP&T OMs F No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31 Jan 19.

I Government employees must enclose a self-attested copy of the employer’s No Objection Certificate with their application and produce the original on-demand.

(j) At the Naval Website, on the Personnel Civilian page, the format of necessary certificates is provided.

(k) A self-addressed envelope measuring 23×13 cm and bearing a postage stamp of Rs.45/-.

(l) To be eligible for age relaxation, all Armed Forces personnel applying for the position must submit an undertaking in accordance with DOP&T 0M 36034/2/91/Estt.(SC) dated 03 Apr 1981.

(m) A person with a handicap who wishes to benefit from the age relaxation must submit a disability certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format specified in Gol DoP&T 0M 36035/1/2012-Estt.(Res) dated November 29, 2013.
